About Michael Sedgwick

"Photography and Design has always been my passion in life. Being with and creating imagery of people and events, that excite the eye and capture the emotion of the moment, is the foundation of my visual process".

Originally from Halifax in West Yorkshire, Mike graduated with a degree in Photo-Journalism from Hull College of Art & Design. After working in the Design & Print Industries for twenty years, Mike and his family moved to Hawarden in North Wales in 2002, to start up his Photography and Graphic Design business.

Mike has an optimistic, enthusiastic and constant love of life, the great outdoors, sport and being with people. Listening to and inspiring others, is the cornerstone of his creative approach as a photographer and graphic designer, with a commitment to quality and detail in everything that he does.

As a sports photographer, Mike's photography has been widely published in the national and local press with publications and web sites that include The Times, Guardian, Daily Mail, Star on Sunday, Sunday Mirror, News of the World, Archant Publications, The Daily Post, Trinity Mirror Group, NW Newspaper Group, www.ecb.co.uk, www.cricketworld.com, www.pcuk.co.uk
